Field House Locker Rooms

Field House Locker Rooms

On May 3, 2013, the Field House Locker Rooms became the first of the Building Champions initiatives to break ground. This exciting event marked a turning point in the timeline of Kent State Athletics.

Upon its completion, the facility will provide much-needed dedicated locker rooms and team areas for the field hockey, women’s soccer, softball, men’s track & field and women’s track & field programs. Additionally, the plan includes coaches’ locker rooms, athletic training facilities and a new entryway into the Field House. It will also add improved amenities such as restrooms and concessions for patrons.

Thanks to your generosity, one of our initiatives has already gone from a blueprint to reality. Our coaches, student-athletes and administrators are immensely grateful for your support.

Why?

The locker room facility will provide dedicated space to a number of teams who have never truly had a place to call their own.

Why?

The facility will encourage team bonding while providing study areas and a space to display team history and traditions.

Why?

The locker room facility will aid the field hockey, women’s soccer, softball and men’s and women’s track & field programs in their ability to attract the top student-athletes to Kent State.

Why?

The enhancements to the Field House restrooms and concession areas will greatly improve the experience of fans and other visitors to the facility.

The locker room facility will provide a much-needed home and learning environment for our team. It will have an immediate positive impact on our program and further instill a sense of pride in our student-athletes, while allowing us to feature the facility when recruiting.
